When I was growing up, my parents used to take us kids camping at various campgrounds along the eastern part of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It was a very impressionable time for me as a child.
We often went camping with our neighbors whose kids were also my age, and made for many enjoyable moments.
It was a place that I hadn't really been to since I was a child, and now I could share it with my wife and son.
The weather could not have been more perfect and cooperative. We camped for three full weeks and only had a hand full of days where it rained. It worked out good as that was when we would take the time to get caught up on the laundry.
